Strong in Spirit...

Let us not be surprised

 when we have to face difficulties.

 When the wind blows hard on a tree,

the roots stretch and grow the stronger;

 but strong in spirit to resist.

These difficulties have no feeling of glamour or glory in them! But they surely keep us close to our Jesus' side, if we choose to use them for that. When these things come, we are to rejoice because then we are suffering with our Savior, whose sufferings will never be on the same level as ours, His being the greater. Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
